Q: HOW DO I BOOK A PHOTO SESSION?

A: For weddings, please fill out my wedding form located on the wedding investment page. For all other sessions, please contact me with your preferred date and type of session so I can respond with my availability.

Q: HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PICTURES?

A: Wedding photos are delivered via a personalized digital wedding album on ShootProof.com within 12 weeks. All other portrait sessions are delivered within 4 weeks via ShootProof as well. P.S… I LOVE sneak peeks and sharing previews from our session on social media so I make sure to get a few pictures as soon as I can.

Q: CAN I PRINT MY IMAGES?

A: You sure can! I give you a print release so you can print as many pictures as you’d like, but I also have professional print labs that I can recommend.

Q: CAN I BUY THE COPYRIGHT?

A: No, copyrights are not for sale. The copyright essentially means that since I took the photo, I own it and no one can alter my image or claim artistic ownership. Although I own the image, I still grant printing rights so you can print wherever you want. However, if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of printing yourself, you’re more than welcome to order prints from me which come from a professional print lab.

Q: DO YOU DELIVER ALL OF THE IMAGES YOU TAKE?

A: No, I do not, but you will get the BEST photos from our session. I spend ample time sorting through images that are test shots, duplicates, out of focus, etc. With my expert eye, I quickly get rid of all unusable images. You’ll at least get the minimum amount stated in your session, but don’t worry, I won’t keep amazing pictures from you just because I hit the minimum.

Q: DO YOU EDIT/TOUCH UP MY IMAGES?

A: I sure do! Everything you see on my website/social media has been edited with my artistic style. I adjust exposure, add contrast, color correct and enhance your best features. When needed, I remove blemishes, slightly smooth skin for up close portraits, remove distracting objects from the image, etc.

Q: CAN I HAVE THE RAW FILES?

A: No, I do not give RAW files to clients. All images are delivered as high resolution JPGs, perfect for printing and sharing. The reason why myself along with most other photographers don’t give RAW files is because a RAW file is just a bunch of data. If you were to try and open a RAW file on your computer or phone, it wouldn’t work, you’d need adobe programs like Lightroom or Camera Raw. Without boring you with all of the photography nerd details, a RAW file doesn’t represent my brand, it’s merely a starting point for me to use my creativity as much as I need.

Q: WILL YOU BRING AN ASSISTANT/2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?

A: Usually this is a one woman show, but I may bring an assistant for your wedding. There will be no surprise additional costs should I choose to hire an assistant.

Q: CAN YOU MAKE ME LOOK SKINNIER?

A: My philosophy is to help everyone appreciate their beauty. I know first hand how easy it is to talk badly about yourself, but it’s essential to practice self love. If you want your photos heavily photoshopped, that is not my style. I do not make clients “look skinnier” or anything of the like. I do minor retouches for blemishes, slight imperfections and distracting objects in the background. In life, confidence is key and I want to help you feel as confident as ever!

Q: I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO HAVE A SESSION.. CAN YOU RECOMMEND SOMETHING?

A: Yes! I have multiple locations that I love throughout Sacramento County and the surrounding areas. Whether you prefer an urban setting or nature trail, I can recommend great spots for your photos.

Q: I NEED MY PHOTOS ASAP! HOW SOON WILL THEY BE DONE?

A: Regular sessions are edited and delivered within 4 weeks although I usually send a few sneak peeks within 1 week. Sessions are edited in order and will not be pushed to the front if you are in a rush. Please keep my turnaround time in mind when booking your session.

Q: DO YOU ONLY SERVICE THE SACRAMENTO AREA OR ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?

A: While I am located in Sacramento, I am always willing to travel.
